Yesterday afternoon, the High Fives netball team took part in a ‘friendly’ tournament at NGHS. Despite being a relatively new squad who have not had much time to practise as a team, all the players did very well.
We beat both NGHS and Southwark, winning 3-2 each time. We played a very fast match against Figtree School, which ended in a 1-1 draw. When playing against Albany School, despite an amazing comeback staged by Amelia Parsons who scored all our goals in the last 5 minutes, we lost 5-3.
Mrs Keyworth was also very impressed with both Moredcai and Brook – our other goal scorers – who, despite being the youngest players on the court, played some great competitive netball.
Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to Mrs Mason and Mrs Giacone for their support on the side lines.
