Pupils in Nursery and Reception have had a very exciting day today with not one but TWO surprises as part of our topic on transport.
We noticed some blue flashing lights on Villa Road and couldn’t believe that a paramedic from East Midlands Ambulance Service had come to Hollygirt to show us an ambulance! We even got to have a look inside and sit on the bed.
Vroom, vroom, vroooooom! A motorbike entered the car park in Villa Road with someone very familiar on the back. It was Mrs Mahl! She persuaded Mr Mahl to bring his motorbike into school to show us.We’re so glad she did because it was so much fun sitting on the bike and learning all about how it works.
