Pupils in Year 1 and 2 went on a Time Travelling Pilgrimage Day at Southwell Minster yesterday.
We role played a Christian wedding and our bride was wearing pink wellington boots with her dress. We hear it’s the latest trend in bridal fashion! We then went outside to look closely at the magnificent Minster to see what shapes we could see. After that, we listened to talk about The Last Supper and tasted some bread. Finally, we touched the sculptures depicting the Easter story which were designed to help people who are visually impaired.
