Christmas Fair and Christmas Jumper Day – Thursday 14th December

It’s Christmas Fair and Christmas Jumper Day tomorrow (Thursday 14th December)!

Christmas jumpers should be worn over the top of uniform for a £1 donation. The money raised in Junior School will go to Save the Children UK and in Senior School it will go to Maggie’s Nottingham.

It is nice for pupils to have some spending money with them at Christmas Fair. We would suggest between £5 and £10.

Please return any unwanted raffle tickets for the Friends of Hollygirt Christmas hampers so that we can sell them on the day.

We are offering all children the opportunity to visit Santa at the fair. The cost of this will be £2 per child and includes a present. In
addition, there will be animals at the fair, including a pony, situated outside the Senior School building.

We take all junior children over for the afternoon. Parents are encouraged to come along; you may pick children up at 1:20pm from the playground and take them home after the fair. If you cannot attend or will be later than 1:20pm, children will be taken across by their teachers. Nursery to Year 2 children will be supervised around the fair, whilst KS2 will be allowed to walk around in groups, meeting their teachers at the end to take them back across to Junior School. Children can then be collected at normal time or from After School Club. There will be no extra-curricular clubs on this day. If you arrive during the afternoon and go straight to the fair, please make sure teachers know that you are taking your child home.

Senior School children will be free to roam the fair from 1.30pm to 3.30pm but parents are also encouraged to attend.

Please be aware that it will be cash only at Christmas Fair.
