PUPIL DEVELOPMENT / EHCP CO-ORDINATOR
Hollygirt School is a small co-educational independent school (3-16 years) based just outside Nottingham city centre on a pleasant tree lined avenue. It serves pupils from throughout the county and beyond. Currently there are around 200 pupils on roll, of whom 5 are in receipt of an EHCP.
We take pupils of all abilities with a genuine desire to offer inclusive opportunities for all. We have high expectations of our pupils’ work ethic and positive behaviour and we subscribe to traditional values of kindness, tolerance, and courtesy. Our key philosophy is that all pupils are treated as individuals.
We are offering a unique new, non-teaching position for the right person to join our team to assist with the support of children with identified needs.
There are two main areas of responsibility:
- The management of those children who have Education, Health Care Plans; the administration involved with the EHCP and building relationships with pupils, parents, teachers and external professionals.
- Specific support of these and other children throughout the school based on a particular skill that the post holder is able to contribute.
The position is part time (30 hours per week) and is term time only. The hours are negotiable, 6 hours per day plus an unpaid lunch break. The starting salary will be paid at a commensurate point on the non-teaching NJC scale of £29,909 (point 33) to £32,233 (point 36) FTE. This equates to £18,390-£19,819 for the hours stated above, payable in 12 equal monthly payments. The annual pay rise is added from September each year.

PART TIME KITCHEN / CHEF’S ASSISTANT
We require a part time chef’s assistant to work in our busy catering department assisting with the provision of our school meals service.
Desirable Experience and Skills:
- Some previous experience in a kitchen setting producing a large quantity of meals
- Previous general catering experience
- Related food preparation/service/ food hygiene qualifications
- Good team working skills
- A willingness to be flexible in duties and responsibilities.
Term time only hours Monday-Friday, 9.00am – 2.00pm with an additional 2 days at the start and end of each term.
Paid at £8.68 per hour.
