Charity

Sixth formers have the chance to champion a cause close to their hearts by choosing a charity for collective support. This initiative encourages students to research, discuss, and present a charity to their peer group. Students all participate and then vote on the charity to support each year, giving them real ownership of the process. Organising fundraising activities throughout the year, from hosting stalls and games at the Christmas fair to planning various engaging events, not only raises funds but also cultivates teamwork and event management skills. The values of empathy and social responsibility are key parts of being a good citizen, and the sixth formers feel positive about their ability to make a tangible difference through their joint efforts.
